This year has had a rough start that still continues today. Since the pandemic, I've been home. As an artist, it was not much different at first. Now after 3 + months, the isolation is really much more pronounced and I feel distressed and anxious about current events, the future, our country, etc. In all this, I find so much solace in doing my art. I work on new projects and a lot of old ones I also meant to get to. In thinking about all the current events and social unrest in our country now, the work that I've been making has to the theme of love of creatures, people, and our planet. My hope my work brings you that same feeling.
