Decided it was time to post an update. I haven’t posted since May, but been busy creating new work. I’ve been playing with throwing on a wheel, which I bought!
But I digress. I also participated in a print exchange. That’s where a group of invited printmakers donate an edition of prints that gets put in a box and distributed to the participants. So cool because you get to own prints by 25 really talented artists. The diversity of styles and techniques are so fun to see. I also manage to print using my slab roller, which is intended for clay. A great way to utilize a large tool in 2 ways.
I also been able to participate in the California Society of Printmakers 108th show in Piedmont, Ca as well as a print show in Sacramento.
I’m fell in love with linoleum block printing – so much so I’m going to teach a class in Davis at Pence Gallery and Myrtle Press in January,2023. I post details as the time gets closer.
